Inexpensive Pond Linners out there? 70 ft X 70 ft

Any of you guys have any sugestions for a inexpensive pond liner vendor? I have tried all the "soil mix" alternatives that I can think of and have had no luck /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif-- Still have the leak--Ken Sweet

Do an ebay search, Ken. I've seen rolls 1/2 price what vendors charge. The thick edpm stuff too.

Thank you guys for the tips and links--It looks like that I am still looking at $1200 or so and dont want to put that into a liner for a big goldfish pond at this time. I have not fully researched the Ebay possibilities, However, I looked at a few of those for about a hour the other night. By any chance, did you happen to remember the way the 1/2 price liner was listed on Ebay?---Ken Sweet

I did a search for roll pond liner to keep out the little molded types. If I remember correctly there were some cheaper 20mil PVC types also, but I think you have to cover those with dirt or sun degrades them and don't let stock around pond or they'll punch through it. Seems like a 20 X 100 roll was less than $200.

Of course inexpensive isn't inexpensive unless it works and lasts long enough to be cost effective. Because you usually have to pay someone with professional experience, soil additives like bentonite are less expensive for large ponds Knowledge is important in the use of bentonite clay pond liners .
