You really want a crowfoot flarenut wrench. It's the wrench on the left in Mace's posted pic. A straight crowfoot is likely to round the corners of the fitting. Unlike a nut, there is very little metal to resist crushing.

One of the above ideas my work but here is another:

I have a set of both metric and SAE flare nut wrenches. In the past I have modified and shortened them to get into tight spots. here is a HF link. At the price you can afford to modify. Crow feet work a lot of places but the handle type may get in better with more leverage.

I agree with this assessment. Though it may be necessary to use an actual crowfoot wrench instead of just the wrench end on an extension. AND you will likely need to get the cylinder to where you are able to get another wrench on the next piece of the assembly. Usually it takes two wrenches to break something loose like what you showed in your pics. Each section is tightened against the next until it's all tight. Wouldn't be a problem but the hose will only allow turning so far and then it will jam. Better access to the fittings is your best solution.
