In search of the TRACTOR of my dreams! haha

Yes, It's true, I plan on a purchase in the next few weeks! I have been all over the internet off an on for 2 years thinking and searching and learnig. I have spent a ton of time the last two months looking over and testing the jd's, kioti's, bobcats, and kubota's. Almost every search worth following links from led me to here an after all the amazing "extra" information I have gathered, its time to take the leap. I have finally settled on the b3030. The cab option is killing me as is new/used... But the big decition has been made! So if you know of any good deals around southern Missouri (500 miles or less I hope ) Please send me a link! Also thanks for all you guys do and explain in your posts, I learn something new every time I log in!

Cant help you on the price but i know you won't regret a cab. I ended up getting a backhoe on my 5240 but down the road when i buy another it will most likely have a cab.

That seems like a lot for a used machine with 1100 hours. I bought my new B3200 with fel, no cab, for that much. Dealer only offered $5500 for my used B7510 with 700 hours and he thought that was a lot of hours for a 5 year old tractor. I see used 30hp tractors on craigs list for around $8,500.

Wow, 700hrs in not a lot of hrs on a 5 yr old tractor. That only 140hrs a year. Ill put that on a tractor in a month lol. :thumbsup:

If you've got cash and don't mind spending time the farm equipment auctions are your best bet. My first tractor was a Massey 35. Bought it in nice shape for $2,600 at an auction sold it 3 years later for $4,600.
You've got to be patient and a little bit flexible.
I'm going to one on Friday to try and buy a finish mower they have listed.

With the economy in the toilet, good deals seem to be very rare, and if a good deal does come along, it doesn't last long. And used prices seem to be extremely high, almost to the point that it makes more sense to buy new.

I don't understand why you would want to limit yourself to 37 million horsepower. 40 million sounds more useful. :laughing:
