I have jump starters in a couple vehicles. ONe has air compressor which is very handy, it use it a lot. Got a small lithium one somewhere, need to find where, might need charged.

That's really awesome, thank you for sharing your experience- I've never considered anything like this.

I have just always used jumper cables, or been able to charge the battery at home.

I've even used the NOCO to start my M9 Kubota in the dead of winter when the starting battery has issues cranking it over in the unheated barn. Starting batteries aren't bad but a cold battery as in way below freezing barn still struggles.

What really impressed me with the Noco was when it worked to start my Peterbilt.

But I still won't leave that, or any other lithium ion battery, charging when I'm not present.
If the device has the proper current limiting features, the worry is almost nil and the NOCO has that, unlike the cheap E-bikes that are going up in flames.

I’m surprised there was enough grunt in that battery pack to jump start a diesel engine. that’s impressive.

My factory batteries in my Ram were disappointing. They only lasted 2.5 years, which i thought was terrible. They died with very little warning and left me waiting for my roadside service to get me going.
I should also say that it also started it when we stopped for fuel and one more time when I went to get the new batteries without needing recharging. It still has three of four charge bars illuminated so I'm imagining it would have started the truck a dozen more time at least.
