Impulse Buy - 3616 Cab

Today I pulled the trigger on a new Mahindra 3616 Cab, went with the shuttle shift this time.

This will be my 3rd Mahindra, started with a 2815, the went down to a 2415, and now the 3616.

It will be our hope that the cab eliminates the number of days during the year, that I use, "it's too hot, or it's too cold, to go get something done around the property" At least that is how I am justifying the spend.

Now the real funny part, all three of the tractors have been bought sight unseen.

Anyways, I now have a 2006, 2415 HST for sale with 66 hours if anyone is interested.

Just one question - what excuse will you use now when the wife wants you to do some work outside, and you would normally have said "it's too hot / cold" so you could realx and watch the footie instead? :laughing:

Well, I was thinking I could put an in motion dish with a small tv inside so I would never miss a game or race?

Sounds safe to me, what could go wrong? Just kidding folks.

I think with Sat radio, listening to the game would work just fine, we have a 2 year old, the tractor is typically the most peaceful place I can spend a morning or afternoon.

Please don't confuse the purchase of a tractor as an investment. There is no doubt I could save ton's of money buy just renting the few times a year that I actually "need" a tractor.

That is not the point, the "investment" is made based on convience. I also have a couple of race cars that only get raced a few times a year, and a plane that I fly occassionally.

None of these items are bought out of necessity, they are bought out of desire.

And now I desire for my new tractor to get delivered as I am missing out on my 1 hour of use this month.

Was not jumping on anyone, just clarifying.....

There is no way I can rationalize actually owning one, let alone the one I just bought. Just wanted it. The first post was said with a bit a jest.
