Imatch question/help

I just got the Imatch set up and hooked up my 674 rotor tiller and one side of the Imatch lower link won't lock. And the top link won't go all the way down on the Imatch , it barely catches. I have the 4520

A whole array of questions come to mind. Do you have a way to post some pic.'s? Without seeing it 1st hand, there could be a lot of useless speculation.

Is this CAT-1? Then, the first, and most basic question; Is the 674 Rototiller spec.'ed to be I-Match compatible (i.e. 26" minimum between lower lift hooks and 16" vertically from there to upper lift hook)? My I-Match is actually 27 1/2" C/L to C/L between lower lift hooks and 15 1/2 from there, vertically to the C/L of the upper lift hook. It works great on my "I-Match Compatible" RB but, I'm not having as much luck making it work with my 1060 GM with the "I-Match Compatible Conversion Kit".

My tractor is a CAT.1,and the tiller is set up for Imatch.I used the bushings that came with the tiller.I'm going into town a little later and see if they have anything on the lot thats already set up.I tried posting pictures before but it was to big to post.

Please post what you find out. I'm not sure but I am beginning to think that all "I-Match" compatible (w/o need of a conversion kit) may not be all that compatible without more than a little re-adjusting of all lift and link arms. If that is the case, what's the point. As I said, the RB works great on the I-Match. If all worked that well I'd be in heaven.

Some times the top link lenght needs to be adjusted to get things to fall in right. I've picked up my rear blade and had it hang up till I adjusted the toplink.

You may try fitting the Imatch to the tiller while it is free (get a helper they are heavy and awkward) from the tractor to verify fit.

KennedyD, i know what your saying.I turned it in & out ,still with no luck.Istopped by the dealer & he didn't have anything set up with the Imatch,they'll be coming out Wed. with my new PTO shaft,and we'll see if they can figure it out.The only thing that i see that might be wrong ,is the two lift link connections on the tiller my not be installed correctly,as in they may be upside down.

You make some good points. Once the attachment is 'made' to fit, then its good to go.
I'm 'in heaven' with my i-Match, but the attachment has to be of the right 'persuasion' for the fit. The 3 i-Match points are fixed, and only if the attachment mates with those three points, can one expect the quick attach feature to work right.

No miracles, or 'close enough' will do. No rocket science here. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif My attachments all fit, now that I have applied some 'persuasion' (trip to the welder for cutting torch and re-weld instead of a 'kit') of my own to make them fit. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well,after i got up this afternoon i went back to the shed and took another look @ the Imatch.With nothing to lose,i decided to reverse the lift hitch brackets on the tiller.Well,that was the problem all along,everything fits perfect.The dealer still has to bring out the PTO shaft tomorrow,then were all ready to get dirty,if it doesn't rain all this weekend.I got to tell you that the dealer ( shop )here town has really been decent with me and patient.
