iMatch Autohitch

Does anyone have this option. How well does it work? What does it cost?

I have a 2320 with iMatch and the hardest thing with respect to changing implements is to attach the PTO for my rotary cutter. There is not very good access to the attach point.

I also have imatch, no autohitch, I understand it doesn't fit the 2305...looks like a great idea, have not personally seen one, just on deere.com. it is definately a PITA to hook a pto shaft to my 2305, there just ain't enough room back there.

I was quoted $718 yesterday. In that $718 includes the quick hitch. If I already had one it would have been about $280 less.

I don't like them because you have to cut all your PTO shafts to a legnth that they will never work on any tractor without that hitch again.

I have not seen anyone hear on TBN that has one...

My dealer just plain told me. "I wouldn't give two $hits for that thing". Nuff said.

Since I've figured out that, all I need to do to be able to turn my PTO shaft is put the selector lever in the middle PTO setting, I have no problems turning the output shaft to get the splines to match up. That was the only problem I ever had with hooking up driveshafts, so the auto hitch would be an extra, unnecessary complexity for me.

I guess if it was standard equipment and everything came with it set up that way from the factory, it would be different, but for me, I don't see any value.
