I grew up in Central Nebr. on Ranch in the sandhills, learned to drive tractor on a 39 hand crank JD B @ 11yrs of Age.
Acquired a M.E. Associate Degree from Iowa State in 67, went to work for John Deere @ Product Engineering Center
in Waterloo, Ia. as a development technition in the Advanced Products section. Worked on a lot of interesting things that never made it to production. Moved to Wis. in 74 to a Dairy farm but found I had to also work in town to keep from starving. Worked as a machinest most of the last 40 years. Own several vintage tractors of many colors, but green & yellow is my favorite, newest being a JD 2840 or maybe my 318 lawn mower.
