I'm needing a hitch receiver for my F-550

Builder, my hitch on trailer is adjustable and with the height of thee rear of my truck I will have to do something like that, I will take pictures and measure lots of stuff today and try to lift my 20 foot boat off the trailer, I sure hope my Case 1845 C has the ?? to do it

Yea, those are nice, assuming you get one rated for the load. One thing I haven't found is ratings for the stupid hitch pins.

I needed a taller pintle plate recently. The only ones I could find were rated for 8000 lb. GTW, worthless. Ended up adapting one we already had.

I bought mine from Putnam and it's rated for 15K, so there's no "weak link"

Best price I could find for your hitch was also $196 and change for a Putnam XDR at trailersnhitches.com . Everyone else was well over $200 and the XDR is rated for 15/16K.
