I'm needing a hitch receiver for my F-550

Anyone recommend a good place too get a good one ?
I found a XDR ( CAT V )hitch that I like but if there is a better for about same money I'm for it and it has to be 14,000 pounds or better

Putnam all the way. Had most of the others. This one is the best.

When you call them, they can recommend an on-line or local supplier. I found a Putnam supplier in GA and he was great & cheap.

Reciever hitches for 1/2 ton trucks rated for half the weight you want to pull cost in the $100-200 range usually. Under $200 for a 14k reciever seems pretty good to me.

Check with Putnam Class V Hitches: Carolina Classic Trucks, Inc.
Mine was just delivered yesterday for $186.09. Very quick service and good followups from the company.

JC, and Tlbuser, I went to both sites and they do not carry the part # that I need, I think I need a 25198 by Putnam for a 2002 F-550 cab/chassis

Consider getting the adjustable hitch so you can set it up for perfect height.
