well since we are turning the clocks ahead next week I am going to order my Landpride Bush cutter to make some new bridal paths. I have everything all set for trail blazing. I just need to mount my Grapple. get the chainsaws out and start pressing out trails

I'm with you, I shoveled the slush off the garage apron this afternoon and actually had some bare, dry concrete shortly thereafter. C'mon spring!

Wow! I'd just plain forgot about Daylight Savings Time and hadn't realized it was so close. Oh well, the yard has been scalped, fertilized, watered a little bit, and hoping for rain tonight.:) So, yep, it must be Spring.

Hiya,

I think if I went around declaring it's spring here the men in the white coats with the big butterfly net would be chasing me down.

The snow (not drifts) in the back yard is even with the top of the kids slide, about 5 feet high.

A long time ago when I was eight years old, March first was a beautiful warm and sunny day. Ever since then that day has been my start of spring day. The rest of you guys can wait another three weeks until the equinox if you want to.

I'd like to join you in declaring spring but we have a winter storm warning in effect at the moment.
It was a beautiful day today. Sun is getting strong.

My wife and I both noticed today that you can just walk outside and smell the fragrance of the flowers in the air. I think it's mostly while blossoms on trees although there are a few other flowers around.

I can't really be picky as I used "past way" instead of "passed away" at my mothers funeral.

I had my dogs out this morning about 6:15 and the turkeys were gobblin' up a storm. I think they've already declared spring.

Ah, springtime in the Rockies. Saturday, it was 64* at my house, and I got a lot of work done outside. Yesterday, it was 24* and we got about a foot and a half of snow, with 2' drifts. What a nice day to work outside plowing snow - much nicer than plowing when it's 5* :D

Spring is in the air around here, literally. I always get allergies when the snow first starts to melt. I went and bought a new Agri-fab rear grader blade for leveling pasture and dressing the driveway after the snow is completely melted.

I'm sure we'll have snow flurries clear past April, but that won't stop us from breaking out the lawn mowers, tillers, and short sleeved shirts.

Ya ,Spring please come quickly too Northern Me. also

The last winter we have had it this bad as far as snow goes was in 1952 and if we get one more storm of any size , which we will be sure to get it will go as far back as 1930. We have had a little over 11 feet so far with more coming on Wed. so they say. We got our regular Jan. thaw so we got rid of most of what we had up to that point thank goodness. I'm sure glad I have the 7 ft. snow blower for the m5700 as it throws it well out of the way for the 400ft. plus driveway plus a good size area if front of the garage. Can't wait for the garden season to come

Everyone have great spring and summer

hec, heard on the tv that you guy's up in the county have had about 13' of snow so far, weve had about 8-9' down here . 1 1/2' of rain for us tuesday nite and wedensday. Water is already high in the river so that will help breakup the ice.

good luck in the next storm
