I'm a new Kubota owner (used BX2230)

Well, I'm the new owner of a 1200 hour BX2230. Cost me 4800 bucks. Sold my mitsu and sold a gun or two to come up with the rest.

2005 or 2006. FEL, 60" Midmount mower, 66" Snow/Dozer 4 way hyd blade. Has a slight miss at full RPM, but runs fine at 75-80%. I'm thinking an injector and an overhead needed. If not, worst case a head. If its real bad, I'll pull the 19HP motor out of my G1900 to get it running while I tear it apart and fix it. I'm in it good enough its worth putting money in it to fix it. Needs a seat, a headlight and some cleaning.

Wow, that's a good price. I got mine 3 years ago. 2004, 591 hours, $7100. The BX's on dealer sites listed even the BX1500 at $9500 so I thought I did well. Hope you get it running better. I replaced my seat with one from TSC. Had to drill some holes and I used longer bolts with some washers stacked up to clear the edge, but I'd never go back to that sloped rock it came with.

I think the motor is fine. I'm a diesel guy by trade, and spent the better part of three hours mowing and using it. It isn't a filter miss that I can tell. I'll change all the fluids, do a compression test and go from there.

I sold my satoh pretty cheap to pick this up. It was a good tractor, but my goals of downsizing and just having one mower/utility tractor. I like the size, 4wd, and detachable loader for mowing. 90% of its use will be mowing and I can sell the G1900 (once I have the BX running tip top shape)
