I'll just have water

I used to see teachers/college professors wearing jackets like that, almost never in the business world.
My English Teacher always and 2 of the engineers I work with the same… all were much older.

I just grab it to have in Germany and Austria…

When you wear something ripped you can always say it just haloed… :)

I was think phase converter as this is how I run my Bridgeport Mill.
Yep. But they're less common today than 20 years ago, the electronic solutions having gotten better and cheaper. And those still going the rotary route are looking for mostly 900 RPM motors (very quiet) or something old and unique looking. This was a generic early-2000's 1750 Baldor, which was quiet but not a particularly enormous rotating mass, and nothing very special looking.

I’m using an old 1hp for rotary phase converter without problem since about 1982 for the mill…

I hated those iron-on patches too. Not only were they stiff, but they didn't stick very well either. A few washings, and they'd already started to peel off around the edges.

Would this have been in the late 60s/early 70s? It seemed a fashion fad for a couple years to do away with pockets in men's pants, or only put in one or two, that were often as not too small to fit a wallet in. 🤬

Give me cargo pants any day of the week!
I'm wearing mostly cargo pants now but have a problem with the pocket on my thigh getting caught on Kitchen cupboard knobs. Doesn't happen too often but it's quite a shock when it does. I'm worried about ripping off a door.

It's amazing how coordinated your body is and how close you come to so many things without ever realizing it.

I first learned this when I got my first pager and wore it on my belt. Constantly bumping it into stuff that I never hit before, but it was only 1" thick.

Don't have the room for an extra bidet seat but the ones that attach to the toilet have plenty of pressure.
That is what I have, and it has plenty of pressure, with warm water to boot. Can also set the seat to heat up. Of course, it is an electric model to do those things, including a fanny fan for after the rinse cycle. Oh, modern luxury 🤩

I decided on electric vs. not electric for the heated water jet. I figured it's cheaper to go that route than to repair the bathroom ceiling, which would be needed when freezing cold water hits the buns, sending the sitter through the rafters. 🙀

Same here.
I needed to have an FM radio with me at work for about 2 years. I had a heavy leather swinging holster for it, that threaded through my belt.

The problem was that the holster was tougher than the radio. I busted the radio case just walking into things.

Cops must have a terrible time walking in congested areas with their duty belt.
