IHC 2250 LOADER BOOM ISSUE

HI ALL
I AM NEW TO THE TBN FORUM AND GOT SMALL ISSUE WITH LOADER
I HAVE A EARLY 80'S IHC 784 WITH A 2250 LOADER AND WAS CURIOUS IF I HAVE A BOOM CYLINDER BYPASSING
I USE THIS FOR SNOW REMOVAL AND MOVING BALES ON ACERAGE
IT WILL NOT LIFT (AT TIMES ) WITH A LOAD OR NO LOAD
IT WILL START TO RAISE AND JUST STOP AND YOU CAN HEAR THE HYD PUMP WHINE
CHANGED FILTER AND FLUID LEVEL IS GOOD
I EVEN SWITCHED CONTROLS AND SAME THING HAPPENS (I HAVENT TESTED PRESSURES YET) BUT EVERTHING WAS WORKING FINE TILL I MOVED A BALE AND LOWERED IT TO THE GROUND AND THEN WOULD NOT LIFT AGAIN
BUT IF YOU KEEP HITTING THE LEVER WITH SHORT STROKES IT WILL ALL OF A SUDDEN START TO LIFT
(NOT SURE IF I AM EXPLAINING IT ALL GOOD ENOUGH )
ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GOOD

Check if your priority valve isnt stuck

Priority valve or QC are the problem.

I will try the QC first and see what happens
is the priority valve the one under the seat or by right rear tire because that will be my next venture if QC don't fix it

I finally got back to it yesterday and decided to do a full service on it fuel and oil filters
It doesn't really get used lots and has 400hrs since I owned it 10 yrs now and its been a awesome tractor never let me down and I decided to do hydraulic oil as well as I don't know the when that was done (not since I owned it for sure)so I checked what oil and how much is supposed to be in there 34litres or 9gals I soon realized that there was way more oil in it than supposed to be over 60litres or close to 31/2 5 gal pails
now the dip stick only had a scribe mark on it like this >so anytime I checked it that what I was going by so all oil was drained now
I put 34litres back into it and marked the stick with a new scribe mark -- so now i know
so in between putting oil in and making new scribe mark i poured used hyd oil into a drum and found chunks of rubber in the funnel screen so now i am wondering where the **** that come are the hoses rotten (the outside looks real good no cracks from being weathered)
my neighbor came over and he said it looked like cyl cup seals (i been trying to load pics but computer wont load from phone)
anyway he took boom cylinder off and tore it down and there was big chunks tore out of center of packing and the plastic rings on either side of packing are broken (if you google the Part#851364c91 on Messicks ) these seals are toast
so now we are contemplating tearing all the valves off and cleaning everything
sorry got long winded there
do to age of unit and still all original British made 1981 maybe its time for major TLC

My 584 sleeps out side and it can grow hydro oil from condensation. I found out the hard way when the filter got full stuff and the hydraulics quit acting right. Now it get annual oil change regardless of hours.

mine hangs outside in the summer but when it gets fall and winter it goes to the shop (gets tough to start at -40 LOL)
I guess after 10 yrs its bound to build up some
it gets oil and fuel filter change every fall guess I better keep a eye on hyd from now on
