Tried tractortips and yesterdays tractors, no help. Posted in two places in an attempt to solicite best response.

It appears that the 2400 and 2500 were made from 74 - 77. Maybe the 2400 is the diesel and the 2500 is the gas model. I'll take a look at my manuals after Christmas and see what I can find.

They appear to share the same service manual.

I found my books. I have the service manual for the chasis and hydrostatic transmission for the 2400 and 2500 A and B models. So apparently they share the same chasis and hydro tranny. Ask away, I might be able to find it.

Did you find any more on thjios tractor? I have 2400 b gas that i will be changing a clutch for very soon and could use any info you may have.

The International 2400A and B series industrial tractors have the same powertrain as an I-H 454 and 474 farm tractors respectively. Only the front axle, front end (front axle and "steel horse collar" front, steel engine side rails), wheels and tires are different.
