IH 154 or 184

I was wondering if any of you all have used ih 154 or 184 tractors with the belly mowers.Your thoughts on them.I've seen several for sale and thinking about one for mowing thr yard and around the barns.

David those are good tractors and depending on condition and price can be a good buy. There were some other attachments available for them and they are quite sturdy. They did not have power steering and by todays standards don't turn very tight. The engine and drive train are nearly the same as the Cub tractor so parts are plentyful except some of the cosmetics. The rear PTO is not the standard 540 rpm so beware of those uses unless it also has the attachments with the tractor.

I am looking for a PTO pulley for a Cub 154 Lo Boy. It's part number IH-545-341-R1. Do you have any ideas where I can locate one?
