Hello everyone!

I just had the rear tires on my 3515 filled with RimGuard and the shop said they had to flip the tires around in order to access the valve stem to fill the tire. How it came from the dealer the valve stem was on the inside of the tire. Is this going to cause me problems going forward? How are the tires supposed to be on these machines? If I am understanding correctly this will make the width of the rear tires smaller and lead to less stability on hills right?

I have the turf tires with the white rims on it.

Is there a way to be able to take the tires off once they are filled with fluid or would this require draining and re-filling? I definitely want to make sure my tractor is as safe as possible to use so would prefer the tires have a wider stance.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Nevermind! Just spoke to the shop again and they will not be flipping the tires after all. Sorry!

I would delete this post but not seeing an option for me to do that.

Glad it worked out for you, but to answer a couple of questions for you. If the only way to make the stance wider is to flip the rims around then that is the way the wheel is "dished" and likely there is nothing you can do about. Hopefully the tires were mounted correctly after the wheels were were flipped. and on turf tires, I don't think it would matter, but on AG tires (r1's) it sure would. As for removing a filled tire and wheel, you can, provided you have equipment to keep the tire upright and you don't let it tip over and fall on you. They are much heavier now and require more care to dismount and mount back up. Yes having the valve stem on the inside is more trouble to check air pressure, but it is still doable. All in all if your tires are "loaded" now and the stance is wider, enjoy your new found stability.

Thanks for all the info, always glad to learn more about this world!

After getting the tractor back it definitely feels a lot more planted, very happy with the results.

Thanks again!
