Long story short, I heard "crotch" but what my wife actual said was "crocks" (more to that story LOL). Not to offend anyone as being too much information, I removed it.

Reality is I need to keep a list of what my wife says when I'm not wearing my hearing aids vs what she actually said, which generally breaks us up in laughter.

Nothing worse than being in a social setting wear everything is "WHAT" "HUH" and someone repeating themselves louder and louder, or someone else randomly talking loudly enough to drown out the current conversation because they can't hear that people are talking to each other already. "Forgot to put my hearing aids in"
