You technically left it open for that, but I assumed we were talking about pickups. If you really want to compare the towing capability of a 1990s semi to a Toyota 4 cylinder then go ahead.

What a great video! 2 clowns that could not even get the trailer wiring working!
It was probably one of the 6 pin connectors that had the brake and something else backwards from what the other one was using.
As I recall there were two different wiring patterns that were extremely common and 6 pin to 7 pin adaptor probably have the wrong wiring pattern for what was on the truck.

Ya, standardized trailer wiring and plugs is also something that has occurred in the last 10 years.
