First off Welcome to TBN! The reason I joined this forum was to help me figure out what to get for my 12.7 acres which I have about 5-6 acres of mow able grass, I spent a lot of time reading and looking at what was available around my area and when all said and done I went with a MF GC1705 with a 60 inch MMM and FEL, I already have a 54 inch zero turn mower, Polaris Ranger with a 60 inch snow plow and a 24hp Husqvarna lawnmower with a snowblower on it so it is not like I did not have tools already but I needed a FEL to do some smaller projects around the property and so far the 1705 is working out perfectly.

If I had a redo I might have went with a GC with a backhoe, I think I might buy one of those Harbor Freight portable backhoes to use around my property, my redo will be in a couple years when we plan to buy the 40 acres from the neighbor that is connected to our 12.7 acres and then I will more then likely go with a 1734e or a 1735m it all depends on what is out there and if I want to stay with the Massey line of tractors.

I will add that the feeling I got from the different sales people also had a big influence on the brand I went with.

7 pages of posts including comments about a lot of minor things, usually specific to the owner's use and/or preferences. I haven't heard anybody with a major gripe about the machine itself though. That says a lot about manufacturers.

Every human on this planet has physical disabilities. And mental disabilities. We all are imperfect. So the best we can do is learn to deal with ours. :)

That's about it... The amount of people on this forum with mild to severe physical disabilities including myself with interest and that operate machinery with those disabilities is pretty incredible.. We have a tough bunch here that's for sure...

I'v had to live with myself for 65 years which has taught me a lot of patience. Now I just need to learn to practice what I have learned.

Back on topic,
I can't think of a single thing I regret on my purchase of the Mahindra 2565. It has been great sitting in a heated cab while pushing snow or in an air conditioned cab during the summer. Both the tractor and dealer have done everything I have asked of them.

Life is great.

There are very few tractors which allow access from either side. I believe that it has or had something to do with avoiding stepping on controls, kicking it out of gear and/or releasing the brake. It may even go back farther than that, don稚 you always mount a horse from the left side?

Calvary, who wear their sword on the left side so they can draw with their right hand, mount the horse from the left side so the sword does not swing over the horse. It also presented a uniform appearance. I mount from either side as I don't own a sword. :cowboy:

Not unhappy at all with my purchase, but I went from an older IH tractor to my boomer. I went with the same horsepower. Wish I would have gone a little more hp. My old tractor with ag tires out pulls the same implements with my new tractor. Not sure if it’s the r4 tires or the weight.
