ya and you would think at 12km you would be closes right ?? the bottom of the hole reach 180 degrees Celsius so what makes it that hot hell ?

I've always wondered how "scientists" know that the earth, which is supposedly 4000 miles to the center, has a core when the deepest hole ever dug is 8 miles?

The Big Bang is a belief system with no proof whatsoever. When I hear the word "physicists" I substitute "religious leader".

I've wondered why the water would "fall" off the world's edge. Gravity being what it is and all. i.e. fiction.

Maybe it's true, "There is no gravity, the world just sucks."

Since we are entertaining ideas. What if the ice wall, which we know exists, extends all around the earth and contains the waters? What if the Antarctic treaty, which was signed by 12 countries including US and Russia, prevents anyone from exploring beyond the ice wall?

OK. I am convinced. The world is indeed flat. Science is nothing more than a scam, fake news designed to trick us all into joining an evil cult. Now that I have joined the flat earthers, could one of them can give me directions on how to get to the edge of the Earth? Can I drive there or do I have to take a boat? Warm indeed. I used to work with a guy who was a mining engineer who spent years in the mines; but took a job with the company I worked for doing environmental compliance. Beside the danger, he said some mines were so hot, that miners with V.D. were actually cured because they maintained such a high body temperature for long stretches.

I work in the deepest base metal mine in the world its 3km (9,889 feet) below surface not the hottest mine tho but pretty hot I tell ya ... we are talking 100 degree Fahrenheit with high humidity and poor air quality, you get out of your air conditioning truck and it take you knee out its like a slap in the face you have hard time breathing at first, you can't drink ice cold water down there because you kidney will shut down and stomach turn upside down and you won't be able to retain food... I stop putting the air conditioning on it was too much of a shock and deffinatly drank lukewarm water. They have a Ice ''stope'' (technical term meaning a dugout space that contains the ore that is being mined or was mined) and during the summer they send the air through it to cool it down and that made a 1 degree difference.

It is dangerous but not as much but as people think, agriculture is way dangerous as a comparation, North America is the safest place in the world you can be a miner. The mine I am currently working at Ontario Teachers had more injuries then us by work hours. For me the most freighting things under there are seismic events we can minimize the stress and optimize the ground support but they are still unpredictable.

Didn't they just find a ship wreck off of antarctica in over 3000 meters of water?

Do those exclusion treatys include patrol boats to make sure no miscreants make a run for it.

OH The antarctic continent IS the highest of all.
