I know that I haven't provided as much help as I have received on these forums, so I hope to offer something else.

I work mostly in life safety doing fire alarm, security, sound systems, cctv/camera systems, access control and just about anything else low voltage.

I'm not looking for work, but if you guys are having any trouble with your own systems then I'd like to offer my advice or whatever I can. If you're planning a system, maybe a home theater or whole home sound system, then I would like to help.

Anything I can help you guys with, just pm me and I'll get back to you.

Do you know of any resonably priced burgler alarm systems on the market which can use IP communications between main panel and sub-panel? I've found a few for fire panels, but not for entry type alarms.

This is a kind and generous offer. I can't contribute as much as I have learned either. But a few things I do know about. What little I have to offer. This site seems to be oriented to people that want to be able take care of themselves. It's what I like best about it.

Chances are if you can't find it, then I'm not in a much better place. I do know that there are no UL listed fire panels that will communicate over IP. Unless it's been in the last few months. Even with burg, there are too many factors at work. Sounds like you know a little about that though.

Let me know what system you are looking at. I'm curious to know who makes a UL listed system for IP comms. I guess it could be different as to state code.
