Anyone make something vertical to help you get on tractor, thought I've seen something poat d like this before, don't know what you would call it grab bar, handrail?
Anyway was thinking somehow maybe mount it where loader attaches. Any thoughts

I've been looking for something like this for my 4701. I like this idea, but it's just for Deere:

There are all sorts of solutions for grab handles. Suggest rummaging in your dealer's showroom/parts department. Also Amazon carries several types.

I got one of these "Plastic Grab Handles" for $6.25 which is pretty sturdy, has holes that can be used as-is or enlarged for bigger attaching bolts, etc. Actually bought one installed on a tractor fender and a secpond one for an unrelated garage door pull down application. Most dealers either stoclk or can order these Grab Handles too. When I bought a new tractor in 2011 the dealer added the grab handle in recognition of my ... aheam... age.

Yep. 2nd offering down is the one I ordered/use. A pack of two of them is further down but does not seem cheaper.

Here's my combo chain saw holder and grab handle.

Heres my solution. I'm 79, 285lb, with a bad leg.

The front bar bracket is 1in angle and 2in strap iron. The bar is 3/4in electrical conduit with conduit sleeves on each end to keep the bar in place. The tie wraps eliminate the rattles. The full bar works particularly well to pull me OUT of the seat.

The ROPS bar eliminates grabbing (and destroying) the top of the seat when (dis)mounting. I used a couple pieces of 4x4 with an appropriate hole drilled for the pipe.

Except for some U-brackets on the ROPS, everything is from stuff I had lying around.
