Buying Advice Identifying 1967 Ford 4000 / 41014 C

Sirs: Just purchased a fine old Ford 4000 from a neighbor in the Eastern Transvaal of South Africa to use on our farm there. The plate under the hood lists it as a 41014C, with a serial number that appears to be different than used on US-based tractors. The decals on the hood call it a 4000.

Parts should be available locally there; if not, are all 4000's the same if I need to carry spares from the US?

I'm no expert on this but Ford did manufacture a lot of tractors in the U.K. As to which exact models I'm not sure but you may want to start researching that to see if yours is perhaps from the U.K. Parts availability should be good no matter where it was made.
