Identify this part

Can anyone identify this part? I had my B3030 over a friend's house helping him out. He has a BX24. We found this part laying on the ground where we were both working. I don't know if it even came from one of our tractors. It looks like a pull knob. It has a hole down through the center like a bolt could have went through it.

I might be way off but my John Deere riding mower has a plug similar to that in the middle of the seat to drain water.

I'm with Dougavery on this - the seat for my backhoe has two, but they are a bit "rougher" than that pristine looking thing!

Look for a hole in your seat!

Thanks DougAvery and KJM. You were right on the money. It fits in my backhoe seat, only it is too cold out now to compress the seat far enough to snap it in.

Hmmm - cold.... Never have that problem here! The forcast for this weekend is 40C (104F).

On my ancient backhoe, those things keep falling out because the metal seat has rusted. I keep them in with Silicone...
