Tell me about these . Do they have the hf built in for aluminum .i have a oxyacetylene torch i weld aluminum with but have been thinking about trying a tig outfit . I also have a mig welder and a lincoln 225 so im not new to welding but have never tig welded

I THINK hi freq was an option on these machines.

I think it has the high frequency but need a close up picture to know for sure. The picture in the link doesn't go big enough to see what the switches are for.

He is supposed to send more pictures in a couple of days then ill post them .i dont have a computer just my wife's phone so I know i cant read what the switches are for , i do know it comes with 75' argon hose ,foot pedal ,5 tig torches , not sure about regulator yet

Since it's a tig 250/250 it has high frequency.

That middle small toggle switch (of the three) is the HF selector.

Up is "on" for aluminum.
Middle is "off"
Down is "start only" for steel/stainless

You'll love tig - foot control is awesome :)
You will find it very familiar feeling since you've been oxy/acetylene welding.

If it checks out ok, it would be an awesome choice of machines.
Totally blows away the suggestions I made on your other thread.

Well i bought the welder and we got hit with 7'' of rain and town had 4'6'' of water and the welder is under the leftover mud

No flood ins but if it was in the basement it would of been covered but alot of people lost everything

don't write it off yet.
Open it up, hose off the mud, and then blow out as much water as you can with compressed air. Then let it sit in the sun for a few days.
Might be just fine. If I remember correctly there are no real electronics in this unit, just electrical stuff.
Just be sure it's completely dry before you turn it on.
