Could it be mounted as I've done on my 2810? On the right against the floorboard.

I was a little concerned about the box being abused in that spot. I bent the step on that right side already when pushing some brush, stumps and stuff the first month I had the tractor.

The frame I welded up is quite a bit stronger than the step and does not stick out any further than the tires, in fact its recessed about 4". It should work out well, I hope so anyway!
