I'm in shale....so I'm not too worried about washing out this cut or having issues controlling the water.View attachment 568107View attachment 568108

That last picture really does show how steep that is. It is a cliff. And I thought I had some steep hills. I am enjoying watching you work as I hope to cut a small drive along a hill in the future.

Thanks. Been a hot, miserable summer ...so I'll post more as the fall season rolls in. It was a ridge that the previous owner/builder cut in to for a flat spot to place the 3 barns....so it resembles a cliff now. I have a similar situation where he cut into a ridge below to build the house. Where the water runs off it is very steep and my niece has named it the "cliff-off", so we call it that now also.20180616_184128.jpeg

Questions: My T243 has a Mitsubishi diesel. Am I causing harm to the engine operating it at 45° whether facing up or down?? Is the lubrication system still getting oil to where it needs to be?? Is this a pressurized delivery system?? I'm having trouble finding info. What I did find for Mitsubishi engines in general states "designed to run at up to 30° degrees of inclination"....my driveway is steeper than 30.....
