the eggs tast much better than any u can buy in the store.also they are free , and good furtalizer for garder.

My family used to have a lake cottage not too far from the city we lived in. While at the cottage we used to buy eggs from a farmer in the near by village. One time we had friends visiting us (those were born and lived their whole life in the city) and we told them about the eggs from the chickens running free in the garden eating bugs instead from the chickens from the concentration camp. So when they were leaving we gave them a dozen to take home. Sometime later my wife asked if they enjoyed the eggs and her friend responded: "I don't know how can I tell you this but they were all bad. The yolk was kind of red rotten so I threw them in garbage." Well those people were used to supermarket eggs with yolks pale yellow and thought that nice bright yellow almost reddish yolks were bad.
