I want a snowblower for my JD 2210

If you can find a compatible rear mount SB, it would probably be a lot less expensive and still leaves the FEL / Bucket mounted for use as required. Yes, you will have to turn around a bit to use the SB, but unless the area to be cleared is totally open, I find there are still lots of times when using the bucket, to back scrape or otherwise, is a lot more efficient than using the SB.

I'd like to know if installing a front quick hitch will interfere with the FEL mounts? In other words can I drop the snow blower and attache the FEL without unbolting brackets?

Yes. There are a pair of small brackets that bolt to your existing frame. These are used to "pin" on everything else. I remove everything except those two brackets in the Summer for mowing. I use the pin holes to fasten on a grill guard. The bolt on brackets will have no effect on your FEL.

Thanks for the reply. I plan on making an attempt to pick up the eBay quick hitch assembly. The seller is less than an hour away from me. I won't find a better deal on a QH kit to fit my model. I think I can find an older model 47 that has the stronger sides and gearbox. Any advice on what I need to be looking at on a used blower?

I'm sorry I don't have better pics. Here you can see the brackets that bolt to the frame. The rearward one that hangs down is how the MMM fastens on as you can see. The other one more forward is what's added to use the quick attach system. As you can see I use the two pins to hold my grill guard/weight rack on. I don't believe either would interfere with the FEL. JD is really good at designing this stuff to be compatible.

I'm sorry, I have no knowledge of blowers. Hopefully someone else will chime in. Keep us posted on what you do. :)

Here's the best pics I have of the quick hitch attached. My blade fastens to it. A blower would also. Sorry again for not having better pics.

there is a kit for the front support plates, and they won't interfere with the mower mounts. here is the
part number LVB25396 these bolt to the frame and then accept the front quick hitch components.
if you have a loader, you may need to remove some spacers used to mount the hood guard to install these plates, the instructions
will tell you for sure. but most times used blowers don't come with this front support kit so you
may need to source it thru a dealer.
they are great blowers, and will move a ton of snow in a hurry!

It would be good to find a QH installation manual for the 2210. I'm sure it would detail how to work around the FEL mounting brackets. Mine has the grill guard to work around as well.
