I received my first dose of the Moderna vaccine today, the first day being eligible here in Washington. I guess turning 60 has some privileges!

Sorry for the delay... been really preoccupied lately with the addition of a used Class C motorhome to the stable. Been busy learning, outfitting, and getting know her.

A little achy in my shoulder for a day or so. Seemed a little more sleepy as well.

As far as travel... short. 6mi drive into Silverdale to a small clinic. They had it down... one line in the door queuing for one of two seats for the 'jab'. Then immediately handed a timer already set and counting down from 15min. Several nurses canvasing the 'waiting' room offering water, and making sure everyone was okay.

Upon the buzzer, turned in my timer, and put my driver's license and insurance card under a scanner. System automatically generated my follow up jab appointment, and outta there!

Impressed.

Sounds like the kinks worked out and supply increasing.

I continue to meet many with no plans to vaccinate and not as many wanting that don't yet have.
