Happy B Day. When you were building your house did you think a man in his 60s was old????

Dad was in his 70s and was up shingling the roof.
The definition of old kept changing.

I helped my boys (48 and 41) cut wood Sunday. They said let's quit for the day. I've still got it..... :thumbsup:

I rode my horse again today after riding him Sunday for the first time in over a year and now 10 months since I had my heart attack. Since he was just a little better than green-broke and I'm now 75, I considered it a big deal riding a mile each time. The desire to ride again overcame the fear knowing that if he threw me it might be my end, but what's the use of living if you have to give up everything that you are living for?

Congratulations to everyone turning 60 and I hope that all of you are able to do as I did and mount up again at 75. :horse::cool2::thumbsup:

I'm REALLY impressed Dudley and also VERY happy for you!!! I'm 66, and after 3 back operations, I can no longer ride. I REALLY miss riding. We re-homed our 15 horses, we didn't take a cent for any of them, but we wanted them to go to loving homes as they were all beloved pets. My back, and my wife's fibromyalgia, made grooming them almost impossible, so we had to find them new homes. I REALLY miss my horses!!!!
