I Took The Plunge!

Well, I had to drive 100 miles to actually get to lay my hands on a PT and get a demonstration. But thanks to Jim S. in Boonville, MO I got to check out a 422, and it was pretty much everything I had hoped for. He didn't use his for mowing, so I didn't get to see a mower deck in action, but he had about everything else you could ask for.

So Friday I closed my eyes, gulped hard and mailed my deposit check for a 425. Subject to changing my mind when I go to Tazewll in the third week of July to pick it up, I am getting a 48" mower, brush cutter, light bucket, potato digger and ramps. I badly want the mini hoe rather than the potato digger, but I guess my lovely wife has been good enough to me. No need to push my luck. Thanks again to everyone here for all their info and help.

I am the former owner of a 1425 and loved it! I wish I would not have sold it now, but at the time I figured I would not need it anymore considering I had purchased a 1430 and a 2445 trailer package. I miss the small size at times. The 425 is a good machine! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
