I Thought I Could Smell a Mouse

An enzyme based cleaner such as "Nature's Miracle Odor Control" will eliminate the mouse pee odor.
A product called Zero Odor also works to eliminate odors. I got mine off Amazon.

If you search, I had a mouse pi$$ situation on a nice farm truck and managed to get the smell completely out.

Here' the one I think it is. I did several on mouse smell so there's more out there.

And here' the real way to rid the mice, second to a cat. With this owl around the only mice we found were skeletons. Look close at that first picture.

Feral cats in the barn have cleared the whole property. Previously we had all the usual damage.
A little dry food and water is cheaper and safer than decon etc.

We have set up a few owl boxes and the owls like them…

Yep, I like to have 3 to 4 feral cats around the barn and my shop. I do feed but they seem to have a liking for the vermin . . . 😉

I have been trying for almost 2 weeks to get the mouse smell out of this door panel that was partially covered with felt insulation. The mice had chewed up most of it. I used multiple heavy applications of enzyme odor remover, sun, and air. I got out most of the smell but not all. Maybe good enough for an old truck no one rides in but me but I decided to rip out all the insulation because I was pretty sick of mouse smell. Now there is not even a hint of mouse. So The enzyme worked pretty good but not perfect.

Are you interested in replacing it? You may feel a draft in the winter without it.
Here is an $11, 23"x39" panel that may work.

oops, forgot to add the link

Be sure to put poison out to kill the vermin. The cats may not do anything with the carcass but your work dog(s) may die. But of course you knew this if you had a need for a work dog that you spent years training.

Not you put your coat on to go do the work the dogs did for you. That was smart.

Snap trap with peanut butter is better. A poison mouse can kill a cat, probably a dog also.
