I Thought I Could Smell a Mouse

I have a Honda CRV that is constantly under attack from mice, there is something about this car that mice find inviting. My wife’s RAV 4 is parked next to it, and never a problem.
I have gone to incredible expense and effort to find out how they get inside, and how to eliminate the smell.
My current method, a whole bunch of glue traps anywhere I can find a spot to hide them. I use the glue traps so the don’t crawl in somewhere and putrify

I like this car, it is long paid for, and except for rodents, trouble free for 13 years

How did you get rid of the smell ? I haven't put that panel back on yet. There is still about a square foot or so of insulation glued on to it that hasn't been chewed away. I'm hoping letting it dry and air out in the sun will do it but maybe there is a better way ???

gg
It was a while back, and I tried several different products, finally getting rid of most of the strong smell, but couldn't find a solution to fully neutralize the odor.

It was a good vehicle, but had to sell it. Got tired of running in the winter with the windows cracked open...and wife wouldn't ride with me!

Yeah, I doubt the OP is ever going to get close to getting rid of the rodent smell in that truck! Flooding and scrubbing everything with Lysol might make a dent in it.

As long as you can get an enzyme based spray on the areas where there was pee it will eliminate the mouse odor, you would be amazed.

I had it happen in the house. My parents house would get some mice every fall.
When I did some renovations to my area I installed a 2/3 size fridge bar area. Did a bunch of electrical work. I ran one plug cover short. I left it off the one behind the fridge until I went to the hardware store.
Couple years later there was a not very nice smell in that area.
Checked the fridge and took everything out. Washed it to an inch of it's life. None of the food was bad.
Smell still there.
Pulled the fridge out, washed the floor, tilted the fridge and nothing underneath.
Then I saw the mouse that had gotten zapped in the electrical box.
Amazing a critter smaller than my thumb could smell that bad.
Before I slid the fridge back into place I went and got a plug cover.
