and cleaned this out of the bottom of the door

Wow Gordon, that’s enough to piss you off I’m sure.
I had to remove the plastic engine dress up cover on our Honda Pilot. Mice seen to be invited into its space. Now they tunnel under the hood insulation, guess I need to remove it next. Vehicle stays parked inside my pole barn/garage.

I had a Honda CR-V in which "I could smell a mouse" (actually mouse pi$$).

Worked for months trying to clean out the smell...finally succeeded.

Sold the vehicle...

Hope you don't have to sell that fine dump truck!!!

I had a mouse disable my CAT dozer several times.

The nylon line to the oil pressure gage gnawed through.

The fix was replacing with a copper line…

The critters have been active this year… just about out of OEM Decon…

How did you get rid of the smell ? I haven't put that panel back on yet. There is still about a square foot or so of insulation glued on to it that hasn't been chewed away. I'm hoping letting it dry and air out in the sun will do it but maybe there is a better way ???

An enzyme based cleaner such as "Nature's Miracle Odor Control" will eliminate the mouse pee odor.
