Sadly the seller told me pinion was busted in the front end. Stuck my head under the tractor and the front driveshaft was MIA and the front axle was sealed up where the driveshaft connects.

Although cool I wasn’t really interested in the dual rears. The upgrade from 2 to 4 wheel was the main attraction.

Seller said he was quoted $800 to get the 4x4 functional a couple of years ago and decided not to get it done.

The 4x4 not functioning wasn’t a deal killer but not knowing what was missing other than the drive shaft regarding the front end was a big concern.

Am I overthink this…????

This is a 2WD tractor right now with two sets of rear wheels.
Should you get the machine, you can take the duallies apart. Put turf on one set and Ag keep. Then you can swap. EZ-PZ.

You can keep the dually joiners or sell them to a Yanmar owner or a Deere owner.
