Cab, hands down!

Bottom line - CAB. There are enough things floating around in the air that your lungs don't need. Don't know in your area but in some area they have VALLEY FEVER cause by dust. Also BEES. I was attached once when I hit a hive near the ground. Another time IN a cab a swarm attached the cab and it looked like a solar eclipse had taken place. I will never ever get on a tractor and do serious work without a cab.
Now for the other safety issues of having a cab, like going through branches, stones that may get kicked u, other flying debris etc.
Now the comfort - cool in the summer, QUIET, and warm in the winter.
Pretty much a no brainer
