I need to find used parts

I am looking for used parts my B6200E tractor, engine model D850. The parts that I am looking for are the radiator and the dynamo. I got quoted $600 for a new radiator, OMG! That is a quarter of what I paid for the tractor 8 mnths ago. As for the dynamo I have been milking mine along with 3 recent rebuilds, they keep failing as the housing is worn leaving slop in bearings, thus failure. Any help on where to find used parts would be greatly appreciated.

Watch E-bay (if you have not yet), but also check and see what other models use the same parts (maybe a B7200 for example) -that will open the market up and give you some more options. Any chance of having the radiator re-cored at local shop?

On the dynamo, is there enough space to put replace it with a 1 wire alternator?

There is a radiator on E-bay right now for $450 with shipping if that helps.....
Search for B6200 radiator. It looks like it will fit the B5200, B6200 and B7200 tractors
I believe your part # is 15531-72060 - check on Rock and Dirt and some of the other machine part sites. Also if you just enter the number in google you will get a bunch of hits for radiator places around the country.

The dynamo is also semi responsible for the cooling, so are you saying take the charging guts out of dynamo, and leaving in place? Then adding alternator in addition? I could poosibly mount alternator in belt tensioner pulley location.

What does the dynamo do for cooling? I haven't seen one that is used for that.

I *THINK* i know why your tractor cost $2400.....

what is wrong with the radiator? can a local shop fix it? how special can it be? can you not just order one from jegs/summit that match your existing (rough) dimensions?

fix the housing of the dynamo? have it machined out to a slightly larger bearing size... tig around the hole and re-machine.....

the thing about used parts for something that age.... those parts are going to be just as worn out/trashed as the ones you currently have.

There is custom mounting brackets on bottum of radiator that makes it vey difficult to buy one out of summit/jegs. Most machinists would probably charge me an arm and a leg to remachine and then find different bearings to fit.

Interesting, does it look like one of these: Yenibiz - Kubota engine D850 -NN or Kubota D850 Engine ?
If so, could you post a closeup of the dynamo and its mount? I suspect that you could drop in a alternator as it appears that Kubota sold both an alternator and a dynamo for that model tractor.
