My basket-case of a BX2750 snowblower was ground-down across the bottom, wearing off both the blade and chassis edges, so everything is flush but I think about 1/2" short. Luckily, the chassis wasn't worn all the way up into the cutting edge bolt holes. I am doing a little re-engineering and fabricating some heavy-gauge reinforcements. I am making new chassis siderails, but I'm not sure of the relationship between the bottom edge of the sides of the blower body and the scraping blade edge. If somebody could post a picture of that portion of the blower showing one of the lower corners of the chassis and how the blade and body are oriented vs each other, I'd be forever grateful.

Does this help?

Does this help?

Almost - so the front edges (curved) of the chassis float above the blade - do the rear sections sit flush with the ground (even with the cutting edge) on this picture? A side view a little closer up would show it. My plan is to beef up the side rails to make them flush to just a CH lower than the cutting edge - that's how my big 3pt blower is set up.

Thanks!

Yup - and not a single one shows what I asked to see.

Instead of people guessing at the right angle and location that you're looking for, why not take a picture of yours showing exactly where and how close up you want it?
