I got it back together today. Found two drive line idlers in need of replacement. Another dealership had the V pulley I needed and the back idler was the same as the deck idler on my GT275. After I paid for the first new one for that deck, I drilled out the spot welds holding the two pulley halves together and used 1\4" bolts to put it back together using an under $5 bearing from the local bearing supply. Works great. The sticky drive pedals were caused by the plastic tread on the foot rest. The forward pedal was rubbing. Trimmed it with a razor knife. One lift arm bolt was very loose. I had to reshape it with a file to flatten the burrs. The brake pedal has to be pulled back by hand to release. I only press it to allow it start. I changed the trans oil and filter. I hope this will help with the brake pedal. It seems to be running great with just a little puff of smoke on cold start up. Tomorrow I'll get the deck rehung and adjusted, then mow the day away. Edit, Reverse is kind of weak. Barely backed up out of a shallow ditch. One or more of the deck spindles are noisy. Can they be rebuilt or just replaced?
