that looks like a lot of fun! Reminds me of the hunting vehicles we had a s a kid. A friend of mine had a Pinto with a 4WD unit under it. Short wheelbase, high center of gravity - it would go over very easily but it didn't get high centered.

Back in the 70's my uncle made up a Volkswagen beetle similar to your photo with extra large tires in front and back. The back tires had tractor lugs on them. He put a solid skid plate under the bottom and claimed it was nearly impossible to get the beetle stuck, the rear tires would just push it on thru even if the front tires bottomed out due to the skid plate underneath.
