Tractor
John Deere 790
I found this tractor by accident from somebody I do work for occasionally, and it is in almost perfect condition with roughly 400 hours, and the price was very good. It runs perfectly. I will use the tractor for grading driveways, leveling land and moving gravel.

I want to find a good back blade for it. Any recommendations on brands? The COUNTY LINE from Tractor Supply seems flimsy and doesn't rotate like the old blade I had on my Yanmar.

Nice tractor. Look at Land Pride Bush Hog etc.

Whatever brand you get, look for a model with offset and tilt capability. And by offset capability, I mean by pulling a pin or ratcheting device, not by unbolting the blade. You will appreciate this function immensely for road maintenance.

Nice tractor! You will be very happy with it. My old 770 was a tractor that punched way above its weight!

Thank you for the replies. It looks like blades are hard to come by right now. I may have to buy a cheap one just to get by this year. I was looking at 5' blades, but should I consider 6'?

I picked up an old 5 ft blade that had been extended to 6 ft that I like for snow because it's not heavy enough to do any damage to pavement but or move a lot of gravel. I have a mid weight Bush Hog box blade for heavy tasks. Used implements are hard to find and often it's better to buy new because the used sometimes is beat beyond recognition.

Nice find and very low hours. I own a 2025r, it’s a little smaller than your 790. I run a 6’ blade, I think 5’ would be to small for you.
