This is stupid, and selfish, but I had to share with someone.

I just bought a used 1969 4020 and I am THRILLED!!

It has been well used as a forestry tractor and I'll probably continue to do the same. (there is so much diamond plate and re-bar welded on that I've been thinking of it as "Frankenfourty") The engine runs great, shifts smooth, and starts easily.

I wish I could bottle the feeling I have now!

4020...wow that is a tractor.....I spent some time with one back when they were new.....it made me feel like king kong......

4020 was the 1st tractor I ever drove alone in the field. I started out plowing with a 1968 model and a 4 bottom plow. Thought I was on top of the world. Congrats on your purchase. Still one of the best tractors ever made in my opinion. I hope to own another one someday.
