Mark, yeap when you said 60ml NW of Atlanta. I thought(<-ouch) you may be kinda close.

Try this link mapquest and punch in springville AL 35146 We live on the mtn top NEof town. Including the surrounding hills, we and many of our neighbors live around about a 100+ acre vale on the mtn top. Springville is 154 exit on I- 59.
I can see the ST clair county line from my back deck. Its cnty rd 24!!!

Mark, I went to tera server and found an arial from 98. We moved in in 2001 and the red tack is in the wrong side of the rd and the rd is tar and gravel now.But you can see the vale and the pond we all (noe of my new neighbors are there either only the few older ones. like MR MOODY he's been up here since 1923!!!)share dwn and slightly to the right.
