I have found if I will mentally add 20% to quoted price of things I buy that I will have less stress in the end.

If you are a residence or don't have a means to unload the truck, you can ALWAYS just go to the freight terminal for pick up. Only once have I found a terminal that didn't have a ramp to load my truck or trailer.

I always pick up at the terminal. Cheaper and I get my stuff a day or two earlier.

another plus of terminal pickup is you don't have to be there to sign for it when it comes in.. etc.


On the other hand.. I've had a load of rear tractor tires sched. for home delivery on 'day x' and be at work 2 days before delivery and get a call fromt he truck driver who is pulled off the road at my farm wanting to know if i want to resched. Heck no i tell him. roll them suckers off onto the side of the road by my fence!

big 14.9-28 with rims.. not many i know can walk up and carry one off. and the 13.6-28 and the 16.9-24's are about the same. manly heavy.
