I always learn something on TBN when a member asks a question, and many thoughtful suggestions flow in. I don't learn so much when the original poster fails to let us know how things turned out.

That always irritates me too. This forum is sort of like the firearm forum I moderate on. Gun owners come on there with a question (most times they want to know what something is worth or when it was made), they get an answer and vanish.

I guess it's good for the forum owner because it up's their ranking in search engines but it is irritating anyway.

...and there, like here are the core posters that are always around.
