I have a new TC18

I finally made it back home with my new TC18. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif It is a 2002 model with 3.8 hours on it. I bought it from Corriher in Newton, North Carolina and picked it up there to avoid shipping costs.

I've never had a new tractor before, and this one is really nice. It is a hydrostatic 4WD, and should handle all my implements. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I've got to put in a good word for the folks at Corriher. Great prices and customer service!

Congratulations! Looking forward to some pictures...

I was checking out your previous posts - did you get a loader? Is the chassis grey or black? If it's grey it takes the 7106, black gets 12LA loader...

The only pictures I have right now are the ones taken at the dealer. I haven't had a chance to take my own photos yet. You can tell a little weathering in some places, but the dealer made a really good deal for me. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I didn't get a loader with the tractor. I may regret that when I try to add one later, but I didn't want to go the Bush Hog loader route. I have a local NH dealer (if he will still speak to me /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif).

I'm looking forward to getting to know it better this weekend!

Looks like the grey chassis to me. Also I think they put different turf tires on the newer machines. (I've got the same ones you do). Maybe OkeeDon or Inpsector507 could post a pic of their machines. I did a search, but none showed the chassis real well.

So If you are inclined to get a loader, it will probably be the 7106. Have your dealer run the serial number to be sure... They switched over in late 2002 or early 2003.

Regarding the local dealer - simply explain that you found a "leftover" tractor at a price you couldn't pass up. If he wants your parts, service & implement business, he'll talk to you.

Congratulations songhunter!! Heres wishing you many happy hours on your new tractor. From what I've read on this forum, you are wise to go with the NH loader. Some folks have not had good luck using other brands of FEL /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.
