Everyone should understand that we are not equal and never will be.
It is easy for one that knows, to chastise or condemn someone about small stuff.
Some of you think that grammar is higher education, but really, if you can understand what someone is trying to say, then let it be. That person may be set in his or her ways, and nothing you say is going to change that.
I am not proud when I make a mistake, and someone points it out, and I might not even know it until some one with higher learning says different.
I have to use spell checker all the time, and if I didn't, you would think poorly of me, thinking I am ignorant.
I don't even mind caps, is that really yelling, really now. The grammar police are watching.
Whenever I recall one of my post and see the red underline, I think how in the he** did I miss that.
Sometimes, I really don't know how to spell a word or spell check does not catch it.
I have tried to correct the mindset of some people about some things, but some did not appreciate it, and some did.
I really don't think it is appropriate to ask a bad speller to correct his mistakes. They probably don't know how, or don't want to.
Those that can write and speak well, I applaud you and hope you are happy with your learning.
Just don't condemn those that are less fortunate.
I did spend some time spell checking this post and hope it is correct, so I hope someone doesn't chastise me or forbid me my supper if they find mistakes. .
Has anyone ever asked someone to correct their grammar or they will not read their material?
This post should end as you are probably not going to make a good speller out of even a few people.
I could probably do a little better, but I don't think I want to, just to please someone.
