We have had a beautiful fall. Hardly fall at all really. More like summer till the end of October. The leaves didn't even begin to fall till the end of October either. I still have oak and beach leaves in the trees. We had snow last week so I was getting pretty nervous about getting the leaves up. So Tuesday and Wednesday even though is was drizzling I jumped on the old John Deere and went out to see if I could get some of the leaves up. I have a JD425 with a JD MC519 cart. There is a powerflo blower on the deck. I was surprised that it got up almost everything. The leaves were heavy and wet but the equipment really worked well. If there is an up side to working in the rain it is that there was very little dust. My 10X hunting suit kept me warm and dry through 2 cold wet days. Now I guess all my equipment needs to spend some quality time with mister pressure washer.
We are having freezing rain today so I'm glad I got the worst of the leaves up.How is your fall going?
